Aequitas_Veritas
Hmm. Might just buy one of those catch cans, sure does match my engine bay.
Kit Vexed
man those are some beefy lines, geez! you'd think those were hydraulic lines to a bulldozer lol. hey man, thanks a lot. you must be pushing some serious boost for that setup.. thanks a lot for the pics. seeing that is making me wonder if i should just pull the intake off and use the supplied line from the breather box directly instead of tapping into it down the road. either way, i appreciate the heck out of the help/direction on this. so on this particular can, the breather box line is going into the angled/upward nozzle, and the top/perpendicular nozzle is going into the PTC.. good? gilber33
Thanks for the pics gilber33, pics show exactly what he needs to see.... No problem. man those are some beefy lines, geez! you'd think those were hydraulic lines to a bulldozer lol. hey man, thanks a lot. you must be pushing some serious boost for that setup.. thanks a lot for the pics. seeing that is making me wonder if i should just pull the intake off and use the supplied line from the breather box directly instead of tapping into it down the road. either way, i appreciate the heck out of the help/direction on this. so on this particular can, the breather box line is going into the angled/upward nozzle, and the top/perpendicular nozzle is going into the PTC.. good? If you look closely under the intake manifold, you can see copper tubing sticking out. I got rid of that hard plastic line completely and am running a 1/2" copper tube from the breather box out from under the intake manifold, and then it's 5/8 ID heater hose that fits perfectly over 1/2" copper piping couplers. And yup, what you described sounds good.

Zappo
Well, what do you think??? Pics man! It isn't installed yet. Bit smaller than I expected. Build seems good. Comes with 2 different port sizes on the bottle, so you can swap them out to match your hoses. Don't like the blue hose since removed most of the blue under my hood, so I will need to get black. I will need to come up with a new drain setup for it since it is just a bolt in the bottom of the can.
gilber33
Do you know what size ports are on it? Use the largest one you can. My last catch can had 3/8" ports and it almost increased back pressure instead of relieving it. The reason I went to this OBX catch can with 5/8" ports. Zappo
Actual out port size is 1/4". In is 3/8". Switching sizes doesn't change this. It is still the same, just able to accept a bigger hose.

The OBX look nice and have a great price on Ebay...there are about 3 different models it looks like. Can you post a pic of yours so I can see which one your using. Thanks man. gilber33
http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item3368a33a62 That's the one I have. Except as you can see in the pictures, I've moved the outlet port to the top of the can, added on the nipple for the small filter, and added a drain since this one didn't have one. Kit Vexed
Zappo, does the top unscrew? if so, how is the screen/insides? mine will be here tomorrow. have you looked @ the directions to confirm the angled/upward nozzle is indeed the breather input? obviously the top/straight would go to the PTC.. i actually dont mind it being small; discrete works for me! now which one did you go for? black, blue or aluminum? i went with the carbon fiber as i have a carbon top cover. any idea as to mounting yet? c'mon man, answers ANSWERS! lol
Zappo
The input is actually the top one. The internal pipe runs down to a little above the screen. The screen is about 1/4 of the way from the top. The output is the angled one and its internal pipe is very short and well above. The directions don't make it clear which is which, but I assume it works that way. I have the CF one given how much CF I have under the hood already. Kit Vexed
man, quite the conundrum huh? i figured what gilbert said was right?? shoot, try it out - i'll wait on you to shoot smoke and oil if you got it backwards lol. let us know if that IS correct though bro.. so would it be safe to say the can is kinda like a soda size? i was thinking of mounting around the torque mount arm cause i want it close to the PTC and breather hose - i just dont like the idea of running hose from a far away place, but i do understand sometimes there isn't a choice. anyways, take some pics and let us know how it goes? oh, and is there enough inner wall to maybe drill the nozzles to a larger diameter like gilbert had mentioned so back pressure may be lessoned? Zappo
Bigger. 20-22 oz I guess. You could drill and tap one, but not both. They are all limited by the thread size. You wouldn't be able to alter the top one without a lot of work.
