Prezman26 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Share Posted June 11, 2011 So I put in a pair of really nice pioneer 6x9 in place of the rear deck speakers. There was no cutting required. Just popped the old speakers out of the box and placed the new ones in the bottom of the boxes. Sound really great too, big improvement. Nothing like a free upgrade! If you have the ability you can make a box like the oe to fit your new speaker. Definitely looks cheap, but they're Pioneer speakers. Pioneer doesn't make a "really nice" speaker.
