It's one of the reasons why people typically replace the hoses along with the box when they do the PCV.

I pulled off the inteke hose to the turbo to clean out the nipple and figured id check the turbo out. So i reach my hand down and theres no shaft play. BUT i notice the turbine is hard to move. Is that normal?? Its not is it? it should spin freely

fastwagonhawaii
Also remember when you remove the box the hole you clean with your finger makes a 90 degree turn down so even when you use your finger its not good enough you need a brush a skinny flexible brush the you can get down in there and clean.
