jroot
Does anyone know a shop I can take my car to in the woodcliff lake area? I'm broken down at the first rest area on the garden state pkwy... I'm leaking coolant from the driver side and can't tell where it's coming from and need to get it fixed asap.. Thanks for any help. nocturnal7x
I wish I did, Im too far south. Worst case you could try a gas station there or near by, I have found them to be of some use once or twice.

AverageVolvo
Probably heater core hoses or Turbo coolant return hose under turbo(if your turbo only) Otherwise check lower radiator hose and radiator. Jb Qwik weld for the radiator,] If it's the heather core hoses or coupler , simply have them bypassed, cheaper and quicker for now to get you going. Loop them together. make sure not too kinked to block flow. of coolant The hose beneath the turbo is kind of a special shaped hose, wont likely be in stock, though you could look at a big auto parts store and might find something close enough. Good luck.

Big Will
If you want it fixed by a volvoguy ..... thats where I would go on the East Coast Absolutely - Nutley isn't that far away and Nick is great. Clifton is a little bit closer - Rawbear Performance - also a Volvo specialist and they'll take care of you.
jroot
Now I'm in nanuet, ny...I was able to figure out there is a hole in the lower radiator hose so I have to replace that. Now it's whether I take it somewhere or get some tools to do it myself (if I was at home obviously I'd do it myself). I'm worried I won't be able to find many places that carry that hose or one's that are open on a Saturday. Thanks for all the replies guys. -Jay

jroot
Palisades Volvo is in West Nyack, about 5mins from Nanuet. Did you fix it? Didn't fix it yet, threw some duck tape around it...but need to get it fixed tomorrow for sure (on my way to the outer banks). Are they open Saturday? I thought I saw that they were not.. --Aaron--
If you plan on getting it home I would carefully limp it home during hours that will have zero traffic and keep lots of water in the car. You'd probably make it home alright that way. It doesn't sound like you're stopping to repair it anyways.

You'd probably make it home alright that way. It doesn't sound like you're stopping to repair it anyways. I fully intend on getting it fixed before I start driving it again. I'm sure I could 'limp' it to home but I'm going on a vacation for a week to the outer banks so that's not really an option!
lookforjoe
Nah, Volvo used to have Sat hours, but now anymore. You can try Miele Auto Parts in Pearl River 735 2522 or AutoPro in Nanuet 627 6216
