Kit Vexed Posted June 21, 2011 Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 i was driving today and noticed my T5-R down shifting erratically when coasting down hills or just letting off the throttle in general? after awhile of this, i got a CEL and the upshift arrow in the dash started flashing along with the driving mode (econ/sport) light? when i got home i ran the diagnostic in A2 and the code was 411: tps signal exceeding maximum voltage. i also figured i'd run the diagnostic in A1 (tranny) as well since the shift arrow/driving mode lights were flashing and the code was 213: tps faulty @ full load. so i confirmed with a close friend who knows a thing or 2 and he said it's probably a bad tps. I also had a 225 code in A2 (a/c signal missing or faulty) but we decided it had nothing to do with the shifting since i'd taken my a/c system out years ago and only had the occcasional CEL for that particular reason. just posting to make sure nobody else had these symptoms and it was actually something other than the tps?
