I planned and prepared for months in advance. I had everything. I take two days off while the family is gone and I am alone. First day gets sucked up by preparing the trans for the quaife. Second day gets sucked up by trying to find spacers for the bearing races to fix the play in the case. Second day ends at 7pm with me finding the spacer that fell out on the floor when I pulled the old race. Lost the opportunity to install the M56...dunno when its going to happen now. Pedals are in, whoopty doo, I can act like I am shifting.

First I plan on the engine swap due to a small leak by the cams, then I start hunting for a manual until one of my parents donate my the 850 NA manual (Finn got'it) then got in trouble for a DUCATI 996 and have ALL against me, at the end I found the 98 M56H low miles and close to home.

Waiting time: engine 8 months.

sway bars 1 months.

tranny 2 months.

I lost only the tinny box with the cable/tranny clips ( I fabricate them) and hydraulic line little clips by slave and master cylinder.

I order and have them new on the door pocket laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif and is been 4 days that I drive with my improvisation.

God Luck with your SWAP.

PS: were did you get the LSD I belive I need hardly one ( I finish already the driver side front tire).biggrin.gif
