Jardim
Hey guys a couple months back i hit some rough roads here in MA and pierced a small little hole on the oil pan, Small enough to send oil gushing everywhere. JB welded it and it held up fine, but recently i bottomed out and it cracked the oil pan on the lateral side and its impossible to JB weld up there. The leak is slow but its leaking so i wanna get a new (used) oil pan. Lurking around the web i found out that some cars have oil level sensors and some dont. How do i know this, so i can source a oil pan like mine? Thanks
Ozark Lee
On a '94 and later there generally is no oil level sensor, just pressure. Some of the very early '94s did have one though so it will depend on the engine serial number. ...Lee
