850T5M
Hey guys, I recently noticed that my rear driver wheel scrapes the front of the wheel well/rockerpanel. I know the suspension is supposed to move up and down, but im wondering why its moving front to back as well. This only occurs when I hit large potholes (montreal is full of them...) Could the bushings on the trailing arms be finished? Is there a way to check them and would Scantech be ok as a replacement? Thanks!

Thanks! don't know about the issue you're having, but I do know that it's a negative on the Scantech. Look at other brands for replacement. 850T5M
Its the only brand i found on FCP, IPD and eEuroparts. I found a febi bilstein trailing arm link, idk if thats what is causing the problem tho :S
tca217
Jack it up and start shaking stuff and wiggleing stuff to see if anything is lose. Check the condition of the bushings, are they tore up or even missing? If it is as bad as you say it won't be hard to find the problem................TIM

The bushings are easy to check, cracks or strange movements mean they are gone!!!
850T5M
I guess I'll bring it to my friends garage when he has time this week, he'll put it on the lift and I'll check the bushings. Can anything else be the cause? I have new shocks/mounts/springs in the back.
