Patrick.
I am currently running my oem 15s on the front of the car, w/ 17s on the rear (winter is nasty here in ME- need some traction). I was just running 15s all around but decided to throw the 17s on the back for a little while just for shits and giggles. I just wanted to make sure that this can't possibly cause any kind of harm to the car.

theunderlord
please put the 15's back on the rear.....please←but it wouldn't actually do any harm would he? Aren't Drag tires mounted on 15's?
Patrick.
please put the 15's back on the rear.....please←lol since you're pleading about this I think I might- plus the rear tracks like stuff when I'm driving in the snowthe only reason the 17s are on there is b/c the car looks soooo much more "serious" w/ them mounted IMHO
Mesoam
Yes but do you really want to be the laughing stock of essentially any (knowledgeable) enthusiast that see's your car?!
Patrick.
I could learn to deal w/ itI realize some (most) would think it's a joke, but I'm liking it for a little while at least
KLS
You've got the best traction tires on the front, right? What happens of you're on a slick spot and have to nail the brakes?...what keeps the back end in back? Put tires with equal traction on all four corners. Yes, it can damage your Volvo...serious body damage when you spin around and hit somebody.Ken

JDELUNA
It should not harm anything on the car, just as long as the 15 inch rims with tires are within so many % as the original 17 inch rim/tire combo.
PyROTech
besides your car might loose grip in the back more often, though its not as bad as it would be with a rwd car since the rear would be real wide and have no grip and brake out real easy.
