vivalavolvo
http://www.ntxtools.com/network-tool-warehouse/SOL-FIT409.html Are these safe to use in a permanent setup for adding an oil cooler?
Che'_Moderator
As long as the monkey who crimps them knows what hes doing they should be fine. Any place thats crimps though should test them for you so cannot see a problem.

Che'_Moderator
We building an oil cooler or transmission cooler? This thread is a fluster cuck. OEM is PG-16 thread. Most coolers are AN or NPT
vivalavolvo
Trans cooler. I'm not worried about what fittings are on the coolers, i just need to know what threads are on the trans so i can shop for adapters and get parts to match for a nice clean setup. the commissar!
go to JY, get spare set of OEM transmission lines. Remove hose and replace with 2 hoses suitable for application of appropriate length with fittings on the "other/cut end" to match what your cooler has in the size appropriate for the hose... Rinse and repeat for oil cooler if you like unless your going to swap to the newer setup with the cooler on the oil pan.

I will cut the lines and put a flare on it, or if i can get my hands on it, one of those tools to put those bumps on it, the top it off with a couple hose clamps for safety.
