I'm Phil - moved to Seattle from Pittsburgh last fall for the hell of it. My 02 Accord blew up its transmission in the winter and in a pinch, I bought a relatively beat up 95 850 turbo for 1300. Looking back, I probably payed too much. Replaced the PCV system and fixed a number of other small things but it was hard to justify putting real maintenance money (timing belt/water pump) into such a beat car. I liked the car for what it was, but wanted something in better condition that I could maintain with some resemblance of pride. Fast forward to the beginning of this month... and I found a '96 854R on craigslist. I wasn't really planning on buying another car yet, but I couldn't pass up the deal. Bought it with 163K for $3400. Overall, I think it's in pretty good condition cosmetically. I'm going to get the spoiler repainted as well as try to cover the windshield and roof trim pieces with tape. Eventually I'm going to want to upgrade the suspension as well as potentially do some engine work as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
