InitialDriveGTR
How the hell can I run it. The piece I had made when I did my FMIC isn't holding up to higher boost levels. How do most people deal with the IAC when you upgrade to 3" TB's?
Zappo
Show us what you made. I am running a 3" TB and my works.

lookforjoe
Old pic of mine - I put a straight fitting in the intake pipe & used the stock IAC pipe cut out of the original TB hose I since fitted a 90º port on the intake, and rotated the IAC, still uses the same hoses - I like to keep them as short as possible
Brad850
Bought snabb's 3 inch hose and improvised a little.
bergmjs
Bought snabb's 3 inch hose and improvised a little. I did the same, except improvised a little differently. I angled the main inlet of the Snabb hose downward so the actual FMIC piping was as simple as possible, then got 6 inches of some 1" reinforced vinyl hose with a butt-connection adapter. So I extended the IAC arm that comes off the Snabb hose an additional 6 inches and was able to wrap it up to the IAC effectively. No picture right now

InitialDriveGTR
yeah theone I had made was out of two silicone couplers using the original TB hose, and rotated the IAC I used a couple pieces of piping clamped together then wrapped with electrical tape. I hadn't accounted for the heat this summer when I originally made it which is causing the glue to melt and it's causing annoying leaks AS it sits with the new TB..Still having the same issues, but not as bad:
Zappo
So, that red silicone hose is coming apart on you?

cgally
I bought a vacuum nipple kit at Pep Boys. I used the stock IAC coupler and clamped the cut ends. It held 17lbs no prob. Use a reducing coupler to connect to TB. It was very easy.
Zappo
Get the part made in metal and the problem is solved. I had a 1" pipe added to my pipe going into the TB for the IAC. I believe Josh wasn't planning on using AC, so was probably going to bypass the IAC. I use the AC, so I had the pipe added in.
