BoostedS70 Posted July 28, 2011 Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 I Didnt really know were to post this lol. im wondering is ther anyway to take a s70 that didnt have info put a new cluster and a info switch in it and have it work. i was working behind the dash and i saw a yellow plug were the info button would hook in. does this mean that ther are no differences in the wiring harness of a car with info and a car w.o. im sure someone has done this lol. the only reason i really want it is to track my fuel consumption and i want miles to 0 lol thanks. Jack8745 Posted July 28, 2011 Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 i dont know about the x70 but on the 850 you need the trip computer that replaces the standard clock and the wiring to the the switch. easy swap. TIZIO AKA 1 HND MEC Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 YES ALL the S/V/C 70 series are pre-wired at the factory, to make it work you have to chose: 1. swap the cluster with one already activated get the switch and you done.... 2. pay a stealership ( a lot) to activate the one on the car.
