Che'_Moderator Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 A lot depends on the tire. If they have rim protectors they tend to be a little wider. Also some tires are taller. That said 215/40/17 is what you want if you want rub free. That or run spacers. Then you can fit 225/40/17s or the 215/45/17s you were asking about.
