NJGreenBudd Posted September 17, 2011 Report Share Posted September 17, 2011 So it arrived, no sd slot on the DiCE unit but otherwise seems well build, heavy materials, setek plug. The DVD is VIDA2011A and I'm having some difficulty getting it up and running. I am running 64bit Win 7 Pro and it says not supported OS. Then I downloaded XP Mode and Virtual PC, jacked the memory up to 2GB and was able to get it to start the install. Problem is when I choose to install VIDA All in One it just hangs with the blue progress bar at the end asking to wait till installation is complete. It will just stay there until interrupted at which point it shows VIDA NOT OKAY. I am downloading VIDA 2010D as we speak and will give it a shot tonight but wanted to see if others have had the same experience. Thanks for any help! After verifying that, I have the unit in my hands in 3 days. 3 DAYS FROM CHINA! I was extremely impressed! Seems like a quality built unit. Haven't had a chance to install the software yet. Had to reinstall XP on my laptop and am not trying to get SP3 on it. I also think I will need to buy more memory for the laptop, which I'm not so sure how to do... Just wanna get this thing working! I thought I had this problem too but it finally installed. Try just letting it sit, it needs to copy over 5GB of data off a DVD, not going to happen quickly. NJGreenBudd Posted September 18, 2011 Report Share Posted September 18, 2011 Okay I did get 2010D up and running in XP Mode but now DiCE isn't showing up in VIDA or DiCE Diagnostic.
