nautic70
I am wanting to upgrade the alt on my 98 XC70 as I am going to be adding a decent stereo here pretty soon. I currently have the 100amp bosch in my car but I feel that this will not be enough. I am straying off the normal path of UP-grading to the Dolby that most people around here seem to love so much. Any help is appreciated.
andyb5
Chilled Man mentioned that the C70 'vert has a 130 amp alternator, and I know Ghost Shadow is running a rebuilt high output (~200 amps maybe) alternator on his C70.

Owned
I did a 220a in my 850. If I were to do it again I would go with Ohio Generator. Give them a call/e-mail.

BEJinFBK
Then why not just call them? 330-875-6677 You can bet it's more at this point. Copper is going up everyday. And who knows, there may be a sale! So why not research your own pricing. And, dude - You Don't Know Me. Hope you can get that sense of humor fixed... Glad I could help. It was 8:30 my time when I asked the question. I was directing it toward the people that had bought them in the past Ghost and Owned wanting to know what they paid for theirs so that I would know what to expect. But when it comes to sense of humor if the best that you can come up with is some tired, played, worn out lame the first time it was said internet humor, maybe its you that needs to get that sense of humor fixed. Have a great day and thanks for posting.

I give you a web site, a phone number and try to give you a leg up and get this for my time? Half Empty, eh? Sorry. Won't happen again.

Actually I am lighthearted and am not at all spun up about this. I am just calling it like I see it, your first post wasn't trying to be helpful in any way. I know how to use Google I was looking for what other people paid for their alts. That's it.
