BurgerBob
Just got a response to my email: Vst is the after market racing parts that volvo use. Please see www. Ipd. Com My reply: So this is a regular Volvo 850 with parts from IPD, right? Once again, is there some Volvo document you could supply that would prove your 850 is a "VST" model? A Volvo document would be from Volvo - not a receipt from IPD.
exexpat
I always thought VST was a Japanese tuner. Wouldn't there be more VST 855's in Japan than any European country?
BurgerBob
Good question. Pester the seller via email; in fact, everyone on here should troll the fuck out of him.
exexpat
"Hi, I am a collector of rare Volvo vehicles and chair a group of late model Volvo enthusiasts at Microsoft. I was not aware of any special tuning arrangements between Volvo and VST of Japan. Do you happen to have the original vehicle documentation from Japan and the import or export records? I also noticed that the car is not right hand drive, as other VST-tuned Volvos from Japan would be. Did you perform the right hand drive to left hand drive conversion or was the vehicle sent directly to VST for conversion then immediately to Canada? I would also be curious to see the front bumper and whether the VST front spoiler is still intact or missing any difficult-to-replace parts, such as the tow hook cover. Please email me more photos while answering the aforementioned questions. Thank you in advance, looks like a beautiful car you have there and would love to have a true artifact to the cross-continental cooperation between Volvo and VST. -Jeremy"

They are owned by a dick head who apparently doesn't want to make any money or send misc. Parts if he doesn't want to. Btw if that's what those model of VST wheels look like, that's horrible, the look like $300 wallmartWheels
thewhiteguy1
"Hello, I'm interested in your Volvo 850 VST. I have done my research online and am not familiar with VST. Are they affliated with VMS (Volvo Motorsport) or? How did you get such a rare VST model if they are more common in Europe? Thanks Joey"

AdirondackVolvo
Honestly, I don't even see the VST front lip. I just flagged for Best of Craigslist, being that, This guy is a Joke. Those are real VST wheels, but unforunatly it looks as if someone sprayed them with Rust-Oleum High-Performance Wheel Paint, thus devalueing them and making them look like Wally World Wheels.... I hope no one buys this car for that price, because you would have to be out of your mind to pay 6800 for what appears to be a minor step above a stock 850 with an Automatic transmission.... Also, I wish someone at Craigslist would get the right idea and put a reason for flagging box so I call tell them what is wrong with the posting.... Zappo
Those do not look like VST wheels. I did a little more searching and I agree, those aren't VST rims. VST wheels don't have the rounded spokes.
