rbodor3
I've been running the old $15/ebay catch can mod that lookforjoe did about 2 years ago see the first couple of pages. I've been getting literally ZERO oil catch into my can, which was worrying because I'm also getting very minor oil spray onto the turbo heat shield. I suspect my stock PCV oil separator has failed. Last night I rerouted the cam-cover outlet directly to the catch can, and vented to atmosphere. The engine block outlet still goes through the stock PCv separator, and then connects directly to the intake (like stock). I'm debating as to whether I should replace the stock oil separator, and continue running my secondary catch can to keep my intercooler pipes clean or if I should just completely disregard the stock PCV system and build my own. I'm only running 17psi boost on 19T, so I would think the stock PCV would be a sufficient (and good) starting point?
