Boxman
It's been a long hard day, but I've got them on. Car wasn't lowered that much with the 30mm lowering springs, as far as i can see, not at all! But I was coming from nivomats and possibly the option sports pack, so the drop could be just 1mm. The rear spring disks at the bottom are a major pain in the ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD. Just a heads up. The nut is rusted on and the bolt is not actually connected to the disk, so can spin freely. I used a crowbar to exert some extra pressure, then jacked it up when I had it loose for a few mm so I could grab the bolt-head. Cost me about an hour, two simple bolts. Anyway; THE DRIVE IS AWESOME! I didn't really give in any comfort at all (maybe they're even more comfortable) and it really does handle like a mad car. Didn't know tanks could be this agile. Doesn't really hang over in the corners anymore. I do still need to get it aligned though. But you will like it, i'm sure.

I got the parts on Monday, can't wait to toss them on the car on Saturday. I'm gonna put the car on stands on Friday and hit the bolts with Aero Kroil. I was told it's better than PB blaster... guess we'll see.
Meek
XC90 spring seats? Please elaborate as I have to redo my suspension soon too... Well, I ended up placing an order with IPD for a Koni FSD kit, IPD springs, XC90 spring seats, and a few other things. I'll post some pictures afterwards. trs80
XC90 spring seats? Please elaborate as I have to redo my suspension soon too... They are considered Heavy Duty, some what similar to iPD's HD spring seats. They are a newer OE design that is supposed to be less prone to fatigue. rmorse
Kinda going a bit off topic here, but one of you guys mentioned going from nivomats to normal. All I need to do that is my ipd blue springs, koni yellow rear shocks, and a new strut mount, right?
Boxman
I went from nivomat to normal. You indeed only need the top strut mount, new shocks ofcourse, new springs and preferably new nuts for the lower mount aswell. I also replaced the spring-holder-disks on the bottom, as I couldn't get that bolt off cleanly. My old ones were not remountable (but again that maybe was just me being impatient and using force), so I was lucky that I had ordered new ones anyway. I mean these things:
rmorse
WTF is that thing? I guess I'm going to find out....I've never messed with the rear suspension before. Kinda scares me. I've done everything to the front, but never the rear......
Boxman
That thing holds your rear spring to its lower seating.
goobernoodles
Got everything in on Saturday. Hit all of the main bolts with Aero Kroil on Friday night and I had no issue whatsoever with any of the bolts being tough. My only issue was that I couldn't grab the back of the IPD end links with the 16mm wrench because it was too wide - had to resort to using a pair of pliers. Car is definitely a lot lower now. I'll take a picture of the stance after I get a chance to wash it... it's been two weeks now and it looks like ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD. Thank you Seattle weather. My initial thoughts: The ride isn't that much harsher in my opinion. Bumps are a bit rougher, but it's not intolerable. Body roll was cut down A LOT. There wasn't any point where roads were dry enough to really test anything out, but overall, I'm very happy.
goobernoodles
Judging by this: I don't think I'll be washing my car this week, so here's a pic from a gravel parking lot:
