4daluv
i have a 2000 s70 that is throwing the following code:p1672 +5 power supply...? Can anyone tell me what this means? Does this have anything to do VVT solenoid? I am stumped on this one.... It most definitely makes my car run very sluggish. My thing is that i dont wanna replace the VVT solenoid if i dont have to, because its not throwing that code(solenoid)... but i read in other forums that they are related somehow... or is the +5 power supply something to do with with battery, alternator,....? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

4daluv
i took my volvo to the local autozone and thats the code that came up on the scanner, i then proceeded to look up the code(p1672) and it refers to "+5 power supply" and i have no clue what that means. I didnt get the p0167 code.......i just wanted to see if any one else came up with this code or ever heard of this.. i guess its common on the 2000 s70/v70 models... HELP ANYBODY.............LOL
Dan A
That's not the typical code you'd see with a bad ccvt module and when mine was bad it didnt really cause any kind of driveability problem. I don't have access to my Vida, but it looks like that corresponds to Volvo code ECM-8410. The ECM provides a 5V signal to multiple sensors. Sounds like it's related to something along those lines but I couldn't tell you what. Just for kicks try unpluging your maf sensor and see if it idles any better.
