FAST850R
Hello, I can't find the part I need. I have 1996 850R and I need to order the part, real main seal, but I can't find it. Can anyone give me a link or part number for RMS? Thank you very much.

erikv11
yep, buy it from Volvo. www.tascaparts.com but their shipping is pricey and slow or go to the dealer, for just one part may cost about the same. you can also tell fcp you want blue box Volvo and they will sell it to you, but insist they get blue box - if you just tell them "OEM" then they often send "OEM equivalent" which is aftermarket. FAST850R
Thank you for the replies. I guess I will go to a dealer and buy it from there. I also need transmission torq mount and those 2 engine mounts, front and rear lower mounts. When I checked FCP, they have URO one....are they ok? (n)A-GAME
Summary/actually answering your questions: RMS - like others have said, go with OEM Volvo only! OEM RMS should cost about $30 from your local dealer depending how much they mark it up. (For reference Tasca charges $19, but minimum $10 shipping). Also, FCP can get OEM parts, you have to call and ask them for it though. Part number is 9458178. As for the engine and transmission mounts, they aren't as big a problem to go aftermarket with. I've got aftermarkets on my trans, lower engine, and rear engine mount (front is still OEM) and the upper torque mount is poly.
erikv11
(n)A-GAME probably has experience with the aftermarket mounts so consider that a plus. However I wouldn't trust URO anything, a lot of their rubber parts are worthless. In fact I didn't - when I swapped engines I bought Volvo mounts, too. FAST850R
Ok, thank you for the replies. When I checked FCP, they only have front lower mount that is not URO, the rear lower mounts are all URO. I don't know why.
bergmjs
FCP has the two hydraulic mounts by Meyle if you call and ask for them. When I bought them a year or 2 ago they were ~$60/ea and I am very pleased with them. They're part of the Meyle HD line, which has yet to disappoint me.
