Burn-E
You're thinking of Swedespeed, They also list radios/head-units in their sig's. There's a reason why popcorn will be enjoyed with this thread. Those who swap out non-oem wheels that actually push the limits are in the very small majority here. Personally I'm looking for a nice set of Jag wheels, maybe some mercedes for the coupe.
The Big Tuna
X70 cars are much easier to put on big wheels on than 850's IMO. From a tasteful standpoint of course
boosted_brick
i gotta put something in my sig!! all i have is my lights and my cd player, which seems to be more than what most people have. if i could find an air ride kit i'd keep my titans and just rock that instead. i'm not one to piece something together if there's a full kit made up. i sense a lil hostility... have i offended you? i dont really post on here cuz most of the new threads i see are about maintenance and my car is running awesome. i can see you being threatened cuz i'm bringing new ideas to the table. changing stuff seems to be against the rules in the volvo family. i like what i have but i have to make the car my own, ya know? i've never been one to follow trends. i'm not gonna put pegs or vectors on my car cuz everyone else does it. i want y'all to see my car and be like, yup i know who that car belongs to. i've never done anything tacky on any car i've owned so y'all dont have to worry about that. Burn-E
Yo dawg, I tink it's gon' look off da hook, ya know wha I sayeeen? Give it a rest...seriously, he wants to do something different why not wait to see it first. Jeremy and Matt and a few others have shown it can be done properly. Sounds like the OP is moving in that same direction. If you want bags then talk to Mattphi or exexpat (both have commented in this thread). They'll get you there or at least tell you anything there is that can be known about Volvos on air.

exexpat
thanks for the support! it blows being new with ideas that everyone hates Tell me about it. I remember coming here in 2005 with an 855 on Mercedes S-Class wheels. Of course, in hindsight I wish it was lower, but I loved those OEM S-Class wheels. GP850T
always wanted to run those chubby style rims on my v70, i really like the look of the think merc wheels
Jardim
thanks for the support! it blows being new with ideas that everyone hates Not hating, just giving opiniated advice, First of all a Yellow T5-R is rare. 20'' will make the car look like something else its not (dont take this as it will make the car look bad) 20 inch rims are cool, its just the 850 was not desinged to ride on a wheel that big. And with the profile series you mentioned, that setup wont even fit your wheelwell. Honestly you might acheive the same look your going for if you go with 19'' or slam the oh yeah! and throw 18's on. No matter what, youre gonna get haters, im not hating, im just jelly of your T5-R.
Leo850T5
I'm curious to see how it will look.... Although 20s are too big for the 850 IMO
exexpat
One thing I don't get about this thread is why the OP thinks big wheels on an 850 is something that has never been done before. Sure I can't point to many 850 cars with wheels bigger than 19", but it's a bit of a crap shoot between 19 and 20 in my opinion. There are a ton (relatively speaking) of 850s and X70s on 19s and the advantage of 19s is that you can get a 215 tire for a little more front clearance. Jim had these 19s on my old car and they were my favorite OEM Plus wheel for 850s to date: ^these are about perfect in size and shape for an 850 in my opinion. Edit: If you do go through with 20s - these are 5x108, nice, factory-looking and inexpensive right now:
boosted_brick
i think i'd have to go with a dark colored rim. i like those jag rims but i think silver would look funny with yellow. those rims you had on your white wagon almost look like rx8 rims... i like those too
BurgerBob
It would involve boring (and for you painting), but Volvo has an excellent looking 20 inch wheel that goes on the XC90's. If you run a set, you'll be my hero. I've been wanting to put them on my car since I first saw them. As others said, go for 20" wheels. Just make sure to get a rubber band tire and drive carefully. My 18's always had a tendency to look tiny on my car.
Dick Dastardly
I rarely comment on wheel threads (unless it involves McMinter and a spray can).. I think tasteful 19 or 20s could look good BUT the tiny factory brakes look so silly behind a larger wheel...something to keep in mind when choosing a set.. Also who cares if its a T5R, you aren't modifying the car...just changing the appearance of it and can always go back to stock. Just no goddamn chrome fucking donk rims or some shit...
