DevolvR
Jim had these 19s on my old car and they were my favorite OEM Plus wheel for 850s to date: ^these are about perfect in size and shape for an 850 in my opinion. Edit: If you do go through with 20s - these are 5x108, nice, factory-looking and inexpensive right now: Your old car looks great with those 19s. Although those ultra low profile rubber band tires wouldn't hold up here... I guess the key here is to lower it enough so that the wheel fits into the well, not hovering over them creating a ridiculous donkish look. RobT5M
Everytime I read the title I think I wouldnt go over 20's but thats just me Guy at rent a wheel wanted to sell me 22's because thats what the last volvo got
caanglin
I think up to 19's look fine. Don't recall seeing a nice of 20's on one though.
RobT5M
^ So nice. Yeah When you look at it... 20s would be a rather tight squeeze. Stock suspension vs aftermarket would play a roll in fitment too.
JVC
Oh yeah, and you can't forget a Vinyl Homage to your most recently fallen homie on the back window. Preferrably in Old English but make sure its almost unreadable... that's the best way to do it.
Mattphi
So what's the verdict? Did the OP show us any of the wheels he's wanting to run?
Burn-E
So what's the verdict? Did the OP show us any of the wheels he's wanting to run? No, this thread does not deliver yet. Waiting to see what he has in mind. Matt, what do you know about the C70 fender? Can I pull of 19x8.5 without rub?

exexpat
No, this thread does not deliver yet. Waiting to see what he has in mind. Matt, what do you know about the C70 fender? Can I pull of 19x8.5 without rub? I had 20x9s under mine no rub. You get get 11s in the back with ET 25 and stretch easy. Your old car looks great with those 19s. Although those ultra low profile rubber band tires wouldn't hold up here... I guess the key here is to lower it enough so that the wheel fits into the well, not hovering over them creating a ridiculous donkish look. Having been to almost every major city in the US now, I'm not buying these claims. Unless you come from New Orleans, I call BS.
Burn-E
I had 20x9s under mine no rub. You get get 11s in the back with ET 25 and stretch easy. No rub except at full lock and when going over bumps or no rub at all. Because now that I look Matt had 19x8.5 in front and 19x10 in the rear of my coupe but the fender liners are trashed. And I have 18" nebulas on it now that don't rub.

DevolvR
Having been to almost every major city in the US now, I'm not buying these claims. Unless you come from New Orleans, I call BS. Ever been north of the border, specifically in Toronto? It ain't BS. And the worst ones are on the freeway, guaranteed a bent wheel hitting these if you have low sidewalls. http://sashaonthestreet.com/2009/04/17/how-many-potholes-did-you-drivebike-over-today/ http://www.citytv.com/toronto/citynews/news/local/article/10178--toronto-s-pothole-problems-persisting-at-record-rates http://www.torontosun.com/news/torontoandgta/2011/03/20/17693116.html
