Autocrossed with them over the weekend. Got the settings dialed in on Saturday with only a minor adjustment today. Had the lead for a bit, but lost out by 0.12 seconds to the STI that won. A C55 AMG took second and I was third. Another STI was about 0.65 seconds behind me for 4th.

The coilovers have definately made the car a lot more competitive. My cornering speed is higher because of the negative camber the D2s give me.

So far so good. :)

Only -1.1 degrees because when I had it aligned, it maxed out to that on the passenger side. The new subframe bushings are supposed to correct that, but I can't get it back in to check until the 19th.

I am running Delrin bushings now. You can't get the C70 convertible bushings seperate from the subframe, you have to order the whole thing.

The solid aluminum ones wouldn't be much of a difference compared to what I just installed.

Running without endlinks will not allow you to go lower. All it will do is make your front end feel sloppy.

roger.

its not a vw :glare:

leave the end links unless you wanna roll that pig

roger. won't do that.

I'm close to 10k miles on mine. Only issue was a blown endlink mount on the driver's side.

Looked at it at a friend's shop and found that I had probably gone for a setting that was too aggressive, especially with the IPD sway in the front. Welded it back on, all's well now.

If the rear is noisy, use the lube that came with the kit. You should have plenty left, use some of it on the spring and where it sits on the perch. It should solve any squeaks.

Great set up for the money. Most of my driving is on an old road here, rolling hills, sweeping curves, blind spots (BBK gets used handily) and the car is a different animal with these.

I lubed the fronts up because the lock ring seized up after a few hundred miles pretty bad. My fault for not initially lubing them up. I pretty much just accepted the rear being a little noisy, I checked it out and everything's sitting correctly.

Yeah I am still getting a clunk in the rear (have a feeling the rubber spring perch boot slipped off). It also sounds like the exhaust is hitting the trailing arms so I need to get under there this weekend.

However, after about 2k miles I am still in love.

I am getting the same sounds. And I agree, they're awesome. Who knew driving a boat-like wagon could be so enjoyable...

Where I got them;

I got them from Sparktec motorsports. This website gets a lot of crap for poor communication and slow shipping but I don't know why. I ordered from them (they charged my card right away which kind of scared me) so I emailed them, they got back right away letting me know that the coils would be shipping from the distributor. I understood that and didn't expect them to be stocking coilovers for a Volvo 850. I got them in 2 weeks, nbd, truly worth the wait. Overall, I recommend sparktec. I paid 958.

I bought my D2s over a year ago, but just got around to installing them.

The markings on the chamber plates are opposite (just the printing, Logo)

Did D2 fix that? I saw where someone else's had LEFT and RIGHT printed on theirs too.

Anyone got a pic of theirs? Showing the top of the fronts
