Jaxx Posted December 25, 2011 Report Share Posted December 25, 2011 ended up modifying the factory mount and running 2 free air 8" kicker subs that are super slim. The amp is mounted in the trunk, under the shelf. Agreed, you can run a free air setup for less money, but I'd rather take the additional time to install a couple small boxes and have a superior-sounding setup. you'd have to butcher the hell out of the shelf in order to do anything there.
