It appeared to be a hit and run and I was not happy. probably got backed into. There is a security guard at the facility, said he saw who did it, (yay) Took until yesterday to track the guy down, I honestly think he didn't have any idea he backed into anything, (He was driving a Chevy Z71 Avalanche and is somewhere in his mid to upper 60s) He was at first reluctant to admit anything, but the guard backed me up (Rent a cops FTW!) So I got a call from Allstate and have an appointment tomorrow. Burn-E found costs for replacement fenders from Volvo for me (Thanks again) AdamJohn, found me some paint matching junk yard finds in Cali, (thanks Adam!) but the front clips had been taken already. I get a rental car, but would love to get any advice regarding the replacement and repaint procedure to insist on since this is not my dime. What's most important is to get the best match possible on a panel paint. I might take the opportunity to get the hood re-sprayed if it doesn't cost too much extra. I think he was a bit surprised when I got into his face at 6AM Monday morning. denied it like crazy then. The guard who witnessed it, had a report filed with the Police the day it happened. Pretty well run outfit, local Jewish Community Center. Great Gym, clean, very good classes and I can have the whole family there for $90 a month. All you have to deal with is the bizarre timing of all the various holidays. Just gotta watch where you park you car, lots of folks way older than me there at 6.
