Oreo931
It's always nice when it works out in your favor! When I got rear ended down in DE on my way to Adam's house a few years ago in the 850 it was a nightmare to get a check from this guy...who was insisting that my car was a base model, cloth interior yada yada and of a different color yay carfax Yeah but you made out really well! Best accident ever!

Mossback
I assume Allstate wrote to repair the fender 4 hours of time? Do you know if they blended into the hood or not? The total quote from Allstate was around $1,300. labor and materials included removal/ replacement bumper ,clear bra and blending to the hood. The body shop is thinking it might be cheaper to replace the bumper (pre-painted from the factory) than to apply the labor to completely remove the clear bra and refinish the bumper. Overall the labor estimates seemed low. I'm going to pay a little more out of pocket to de-chip and repaint the hood completely with clear bra on that. It will be blended to the pass side fender. Mossback
Getting it back on Monday, after the adjuster came out to the shop to revisit the original Allstate estimate, we got a lot closer to the real repair cost.

Mossback
Oh that hood is going to look good! Finished, looks very good for a blended repair. Little bit of tweaking to do but very happy with the overall result, Hood is amazing.
