TIZIO AKA 1 HND MEC Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 Guys I need help with TWO questions: 1.Any Idea if the FWD AUTO tranny will work for the AWD AUTO, what I mean is for a short time I want to use the FWD tranny that I have in the garage until the M66 arive. The bevel gear can be SWAP from the AWD to the FWD ?? This is my question for the moment ( I have VADIS at work and not start yet with the "seach" button. 2. The shaft +support bearing from a 2000 XC can be swap in a 98 ? ( I am aware they are different and VIN related) Car is 98 V70 AWD, tranny is ssslipping alot. Matt01 Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 i dont think it d be worth the effort, im honestly not sure if it would work.. you could run the car FWD for a while i guess. All i can say is maybe the bevel gear would bolt on. I dont think that the 2000 componets are backwards compatible with the 98.the m66.. definatly worth the effort!!
