I'd like to let everyone know that on Saturday November 19th, fellow VS member Brick-a-brak and i will be meeting for a goods exchange at Rein's Deli. Generally, other members attend these and it turns out to be a really good time. We generally get there, talk for a bit as everyone arrives and meets, go inside and wait on line for 45 minutes waiting for a table big enough and then chow down on the most delicious fat-laden sandwiches and other delicacies accompanied by beer. This almost became a quarterly event at one time. So, on the 19th, we will be arriving there at about 12:00noon. I will be bringing the 240 for all to see, but it is really pretty unimpressive. The main thing is that we get a nice group and enjoy the conviviality with our Volvos! In the past I have posted to meet at Reins and int he last minute, because of work, I was not able to make it. It feels pretty lame, but it is reality. We generally have a great time (at least I do) at Reins...its a nice atmosphere. Once I brought my father with em and he was expecting burnouts and loud exhausts...he was surprised it was more like a RWD get together that both my father and I have been to when we are in Lisbon: relaxed cafe atmosphere and everyone dines together.
