Ghost Shadow
How much does the whole keyless/alarm setup run $$ wise? retails For just the Remote start/Alarm Paging @ $699, Drone $349, Touch Rps $69 What i would sell these for on any given day? $950 plus transponder interface if you needed it $25-99 bucks. In another 93-97 850 or 98-00 x70 $700 i am serious i know someone who is in the market if you sell... I have now racked up 150 miles since the engine is complete. Only a few problems leftneed another 350 300 275 235 miles before i can open her up squeak in the rear found that last night, loose panelWhining noise when i get to 30mph stupid load bars whining like a bitch...weeeeee weeeeeeeee, now its ohh so quietwaiting to be installed FMIC, in the garagewaiting to be installed blocking plateOrdered/payment sent OBX straight flange down pipewaiting to be installed Magnaflow Muffler to replace suit caseordering a high flow catwaiting to be installed Motorola IHF1000 with a mss switcherlook into oil coolernot ordered yet, New front rotors, old ones warpednot ordered yet, New rear rotors, might as well since...waiting to be done, New parking brake cablewaiting to be done, New OEM trans fluidwaiting for it to tear, they cracker, passenger side axle bootslooking for, New ABM projectors or used ones Basically mods LOL, Greg...Its going to be hard to part with it. It truly is a amazing vehicle at 155050 miles. You would not believe it, i dont believe it when i drive it. Just alaigned it yesterday and my trusty friend there said, "Steve, i like all you other cars, but now this is my kind of car. Stock suspension, quiet, regular wheels, manual transmission, no irregular noises, starts right up, and its clean inside/outside/underside..Id be interested if you wanted to sell it." told him i was going to enjoy it for a little while longer. I told him i got rid of my last toy too soon, referencing the btcc replica. I will entertain offers as i progress with it. You and your friend should get together and come over one day and check it out. If they really like it make me a offer and we can go from there. I honestly dont need 3 volvos + 1 more to fix in the driveway. PM me we can set something up. Hottttt.... I like this car a lot. So i guess with the remote start you have to remember to park it in neutral huh? thanks. Nope, doesnt matter!! You need to satisfy 3 criteria in order for a successful restart remotelyparking brake needs to be engagedwhen key is removed, car will stay runningexit vehicle and car will remotely set and waitfor you to arm/activate and lock the carcar is secure, ready to be restarted This meanscar will not roll away since brake is oncar was in neutral since you got out of the car and it was runningsince you got out of the car, brake was on and it was running. system was secureyou armed and lock the doors Now if you disarm go in and get your wallet and get out and re arm it. it will not start, you just compromised the car. you may have inadvertently hit the car into gear. thus if you tried it will give you a reservation mode not set error. so you have to go thru the setup procedure all over again. yes is it a pain? yes. is it safe? yes. can you get it to start in gear? yes, but thats trying to defeat it. Is there anything else out there that does the same thing besides compustar? not that i know of and with all the same safetly features. Despite the oil spill, you still used Valvoline, right? Those Castrol bottles scared me for a while. had do use up all the loose odds and ends i had. used .5 more castol, 2 valvoline, and 1.5 royal purple(arrg) its all only for 500 miles. that went from a $20 on sale valvoline $20 for filter and 5.23quarts to $60 oil change job! Burn-E
Bleeding brakes properly requires something like the Motive power bleeder. It's totally straightforward. But you don't have to bleed them in order to replace pads.
