Brad850
When I accelerate at 40 mph I can feel a light vibration in the gas pedal and only the gas pedal. It usually only happens when I give it maybe a little more than half throttle. Most of the time when the car downshifts and I stomp on it, or If i just stomp on it in general I get no vibration. No sound associated with it so i assume it's not detonation or anything of that nature? Happened before and after I did stage zero. Plugs are gapped .026 and I recently installed an msd Any ideas? 850R Hooligan
I experienced something similar and it turned out to be a broken throttle cable. Where the cable penetrates the firewall there is a rubber boot and plastic clip that is a pressure fitting. Check there to see if the cable/boot/clip has broken allowing the cable to flop around. That boot/mechanism should be snug against the firewall. If it is that i got a new cable from the dealership for $61.00 and it took about 15 mins to install. Brad850
Is any part of the boot thats coming out of the firewall meant to move at all? I can twist and wiggle it a bit.
