Vibration After Replacing Rms And All Mounts

Hello,

My car was under surgery 2weeks ago. The bottom 2 engine mounts and tranny torque mount were changed when RMS was replaced.

I noticed vibration a lot more than before, and I don't think it's supposed be like this.

When it's idling with gear "d" position, I can feel the vibration through brake pedal, the cabin is vibrating. If I put the gear into "n", the vibration is gone.

When I take off slowly, the vibration gets stronger, and it's the same when I slowly slow down.

I have a roof rack with bicycle racks, and they rattle a lot due to the vibration I have.

My car wasn't like this before RMS was replaced.

A mechanic worked on my car, and I want to know what can cause it before I take my car.

Since its slight vibration, anyone can say it's normal, but I know something is not right.

Thanks

Yes, I have upper poly mount from IPD :)

Can this be the problem? The upper poly mount was replaced 1 year ago, and it didn't vibrate this much till RMS and other lower mounts were replaced.

I got the passenger side mount and 3 lower mounts from FCP.

Are your wheels balanced? Check wheels torqued. You have poly upper mounts dont you?

Um...no the wheels are not balanced. What do you mean by wheels torqued?

I don't think the vibration is wheel problem. It's almost like buzzing the cabin, really fast vibration.

Thanks.

Evenly torqued lugs. If they're loose they make noise, but not a fine vibration. Why are your wheels not balanced? What second-rate tire shop installed your tires without balancing the wheels?

The old mounts were probably really squishy and crap and so you didn't feel the poly mount, but now that they're new and hard the poly mount makes more of a difference. Try just unbolting the poly mount and removing it, then drive it around the block and see if the noise is gone. Then put it back in.

If it gets rid of the noise, then go get an OEM upper mount bushing, if not, keep troubleshooting.

Oh, by mean "the wheels are not balanced", they are perfectly fine. They were balanced. Sorry, my misunderstanding.

I will remove the upper torque mount and test drive my car. Thank you for the good suggestion.
