Guest DougK
doesn't really matter...I already concede that my car is slow...and you can't discount that it was my first try at this slow and boring sport ←Its cool, just more ammo to make fun of you with. And I find this offensive, its like any other sport. Takes practice and skill. And I can go drag race every wensday night for 15 bucks, last time I checked laguna seca wasn't letting me do that I may split/start this thread over again, its a neat idea. Volvokiller
Road racing is much much more challenging....I really really want to get to the track (the REAL track)...lets something up at Summit or ANYWHERE...←With a fwd sedan + auto trans you aren't kidding. I don't know if I'd say challenging.... more like pointless? I dunno, I can't imagine my S70 being very fun at Summit Point. My 242 would be a much better time... even at half the hp!Chris

EricF
Back on topic:The one time I focused on trying to pull a good 60 foot (instead of trying to figure out how to launch my darn 18s), I got a .480. So, I suck by .020...
lax01
And for Lax, you didn't ever take any interest in beating the other guy you lined up against at the track? No because the only time I went to the track, I raced two 10 second cars....It wasn't even close...regardless of R/T or 60 foot
