Che'_Moderator
You breaking a lot of control arms? Solid bushings are sold by CJ and some swedes like LGspeed. Why do you change a lot of them? Is it the bushings at the sub frame? or the ball joints that are wearing on you? For me I find accelerated ball joint wear. My guess is because the car is lowered more than normal, I'm getting excessive wear. I had at one point thought of making a spacer, but it's a single shear ( I believe, and that is frowned upon)
TIZIO AKA 1 HND MEC
Big rims(18) and low prof. Tires amplify the regular wear beside the roads condition here.

The bushings at the subframe or the balljoints? Interesting... mine is caused by the KW's. Like I said though, its the ball joints for me because I think there is a lot of extra load put on them in a lower than normal setup.
lookforjoe
Is the C70 subframe AWD style control arms or FWD style? The AWD Style use four bolts to attach to the subframe. I've never had those bushing fail, just balljoint wear.

I've never had those bushing fail, just balljoint wear. Yeah, even on the regular 2 bolt style, I have only had one control arm fail. And that was some junk aftermarket. So I swapped to OEM and really don't have issues. I decided to try the Meyle HD models this time around... so we shall see if I kick myself for doing that and not just sticking to the OEM on the control arms. Ideally I'd like to make something with replaceable ball joints. Then I wouldn't feel bad about using poly bushings in control arms.

550
I just fail to believe you are breaking control arms... and if you are, you are installing them incorrectly. This kind of seems like a waste of money to me. Save your money for the amount of control arms you will have to buy based on the ball joint wearing out and not the bushings or anything else. But that's my .02.
