C70 Subframe

Recommended Posts

I install them "Book Wise" believe me, torque on speech. and all on lift with the rim on.

On a lift with where the suspension is loaded?

Also, you still haven't answered what is wearing out on the arms... I have asked 3 times now. Hard to help you when we don't even know what's going on.

Yes when the suspension is loaded.

I try all the manufacturer on the market, unfortunately for me they all have short life mainly for first bushing and second the baljoint!!Aluminum arms with full bar welded is my next option ( and baljoint replaceable ). I will let you know.

I have the Delrin subframe mounts and they are GREAT! Mine were so dead before swapping them out. Suspension was soft and bouncey and response was vague. Now it's crisp and tight. A little vibration is transmitted thru especially in cold at idle and low RPM, but that is due to me having lots of poly and poly encased motor mounts.

IIRC isn't the C70 vert the only one with solid rubber mounts? Are the coupe the same as the sedan? I thought they made the vert stiffer because of the frame flex without a roof.

Good to know about the subframe bushing, you right about the body frame stiffness!! Windshield frame is a different beast and whole rear is different (wider, stiff springs etc.).
