damitzmike
My 850R was smoking at idle for past 2 months. I recently changed the complete pcv system out and the car no longer smokes at idle. On the other hand I do notice after a WOT pull as soon as I let off the accelerator a big cloud of white smoke comes out the exhaust. could this be a bad turbo seal. The current turbo on the car is only 14 months old. the engine was overhauled 7 months ago with new headgasket and what not.
Tommy.
White smoke usually signifies oil. I would say you're on the right track but it could be a multitude of things.
bergmjs
I thought oil was blue smoke and coolant/water was white? Also depends on where it's entering the system I suppose.

Hmm you might be right as well. Not sure on this one. A video would probably be awesome.

Pretty sure the rundown is: Blue=oil White=coolant Black=running rich A video would definitely help.
