boosted_brick Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 i seem to have rattled the nuts and bolts loose on these things. what do you reccommend? basic nuts, bolts and washers? zipties? it makes my car sound like stuff and i'd like to do it once and forget about it. Just get new nuts and lock washers..if the tabs on the anchors are bent or broken jam a big screw driver or prybar in to keep them from turning until there is tension..then tighten them all the way. that's a very annoying noise. boosted_brick Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 i replaced the springs, thinking i'd need to which i regret doing, and i guess i didn't tighten them back up enough and they're all completely gone. i hit the smallest bump and the damn things rattle around. i forgot about the lockwashers... i guess that's what i'll end up going with.
