OK but is the SHAPE of the rim/spokes ideantical, or different? Ie. is it a different product altogether or just a different color combination for the same product?

Have a great day,

Maciek

The shape and spokes are nearly identical, but the size of the wheel is not. The 850 wheel is larger in diameter and thicker than the s90/960 wheel.

Hi

I'm sorry, that's right, we do have it from you Steve, thank you again. I didn't check our wheel list carefully enough before posting my previous reply...

So essentially we have the wheel and can cell it to the first person who orders the wrap for it. Here's what you're looking at:

$129 for the wrap

$100 installation

$40 shipping

$0 core wheel (since Steve gave it to us)

And you get $100 back for sending us pictures of the wheel installed in your car.

Any takers? :)

Have a great day,

Maciek

Hello everyone!

More updates on our wheels. Here's a 98-02 Firebird wheel. Notorious for being too thin for most of us. This one has been padded (see our steering wheel padding) and wrapped in Genuine Black Alcantara®… As opposed to the stock sized wheel in black leather on the left:

And the GM wheel found on C5s, G5s, HHRs, Skys and Solstices:

Here's the EASTER DISCOUNT CODE, 10% off everything through this month's most SPOOKY day… Friday the 13th! :)8IZ43AHP239

Happy Easter everyone!

Got my shift boot and ebrake boot for my S70 T5m in the mail the other day and got them installed -- they are excellent!

Might want to update your instructions though... I know, and I think most here know how to do it, but specifically shift knob removal with a stock shift knob can be near impossible without the right tool. Your example instructions show an aftermarket shift knob and not the OEM Volvo one.

pics please :) ^^

Your wish is my command -- iPhone pics so not the best. I went with charcoal leather boots and silver stitching. I really dig the contrasting thread on them. Only slight downside is that the stitching on the new OEM leather shift knob is dark as is all the other stitching in the car so the silver stitching on the boots sticks out a touch. Fine with me though as I still like it.

I gotta say too, the shift knob upgrade is sooooooo well worth it. This leather wrapped OEM one is super nice. A huge improvement over the old plastic one. After upgrading the boots and knob I'm ready to get a matching Redline steering wheel cover in charcoal/silver stitching if/when they have them.

The leather shift knob is specific to 1998 model years, part number is 9183646. The leather color on the knob is almost an exact match to the charcoal color Redline uses. Knob looks like this:
