gdizzle
Prices vary greatly on the morgan silver dollars, best bet is get it appraised by the PCGS. The most valuable are the "CC" or carson city mintings. I'm not a coin collector perse, but enherited a small collection recently that happens to have a few morgan silver dollars and have been going through them one by one. As for the bills, no idea, but I suspect face value, since they're creased. If you want to sell them, make sure you sell to a collector and not a "gold/Silver" buyer as the coin is worth more than the market value of its silver content. PyROTech
look up coin stores in your city. You can go in and get a low figure of what it is worth. Also you can find one that is authorized to send your coin off for you. Reason i usually use one of those is b/c i live in canada and the shipping is just a nightmare when it comes to proper documentation and customs. Greg basically said everything you need to know. You could also use another one of the coin graders but they are all basically the same from the major 3. You can get just over face value for the bills. I havent ever dealt with the morgan dollars, but you could get alot for it depending on what grade you are given and some fucked up shit with the toning (for some reason people think its an art having nice toning).40+ i would say. Personally i would get it graded and keep it.
Che'_Moderator
Not are worth a ton, but they are worth saving. Mike and I bet with them LOL. I currently have a 34 5 dollar north african bill on the line for one of his red notes. Back on subject, PM MIke, Flyfishing3, he collects 2 dollar bills. He would probably take them off your hand. R MOOSE
The bills are worth face value, due to there condition.I am big into collecting old paper, not so much coins but Morgans are highly wanted in the right condition and yours looks to be in good shape. Che' or Mike---Would you guys happen to have any Hawaii silver certificates in F-XF?
