atefitty
My TME exhaust resonator is rattling and I was thinking instead of replacing it to just eliminate it. Do I just have some stainless put in its place or do I need to have a shop cut out the inside and replace it with some stainless?..I'm not sure on this one. I would like to get a little more sound out of the exhaust. If anyone knows the proper way to do this please reply, thanks.
prasamin
you'll need to keep some kind of resonator in there....going straight pipe all the way back may be really loud (unless you're into that) as far as making it slightly louder, a glasspack might do the trick....just cut out the existing resonator, and replace with appropriate pack....or pipe depending on what you want....cut and weld. sdancer
I did a straight pipe with obx resonator (I just cut off bits of the original PBS setup till I liked it )loud and agressive but it definatly drones on the highway. Are you sure it's the resonator itself that is rattling and not just a part of your exhaust hitting a heat sheild, or like in my case the old catalytic protector thing?*OBXNot PBS
