850T5M
Hey guys, I'm waiting for my ARD Green tune in the mail...super excited about it lol I've been running a RICA 18T tune for the past year with my MBC...ran ok, but had a few problems, hence the new tune Question: I have a GlowShift Digital Boost gauge. I have problems with it not reading correctly. In my opinion, the boost gauge is one of the more important gauges in a modified turbo car...I really wanna know what is the proper boost. Any opinions on what Gauge I should buy? Im looking for another digital one, red or blue... I need something that is really acurate, not like my GlowShit one that bounces around between 1 and -3 when the car is off (accessory mode). Also, my gauge only goes down to -14.5 vacuum...ideally I'd want one that goes down too like -30 AEM a good choice? Also, I ordered a AC Delco boost solenoid to replace my MBC. I want the tune to run my engine, not my MBC...thats why I need a better gauge as soon as possible. I wanna make sure I hit my target boost, and not over or under Thanks! T5Hammy
I love my AEM boost gauge, I think its definitely worth the money and have had zero issues with it
aggarcia
I have the Autometer Sport-Comp series. It closely matches the look of the factory gauges.
850T5M
I was looking into the AEM one, cuz i have the same wideband... It's so overpriced tho lol Anyone have problems with the AEM gauge?
prasamin
love the autometers...have the dpic, boost/vac and wideband....no issues in years.
crc1021
I have an autometer boost gauge, it is the Ultra Lite II series. I chose it because it is a full sweep electric gauge, which are said to be one of the best, and it recalibrates during every startup. It cost a lot for a boost gauge, but I wanted the accuracy. RobT5M
Pic please! theres one local for sale for stupid cheap, was thinking of picking it up to replace the autometer. To the OP... Link to the AC Delco you bought?
850T5M
AC Delco solenoid is from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120722114540?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_772wt_905 Its the only one I found with the pigtail...says GM, but I assume it was OEM on GM turbo cars? Going back to the gauge, I guess AEM or Autometer are both smart choices. I'll look into whichever I can find at a better price. Living in Canada, everything is more expensive lol :(

850T5M
Boxpin, is it hard to check the boost pressure when your driving? Im debating whether I should get a digital or analog gauge Is there a button to tell you the peak boost you hit? Does it rattle? lol
850T5M
Wow, just looked up some of these full sweep gauges are retardedly expensive lol Mechanical gauges any good? (autometer)
crc1021
My autometer has a peak boost setting. You set it to where you want to limit the boost, if your boost passes that point, you get a red light.

BoostedS70
I had several analog gauges from several companys then I bought a prosport EVO digital by far my favirote it gives u an actual number and not a neddle bouncing around. I will only use digital from here on out. The only complaint I have with the digital gauges are they are difficult to see in the daytime. I also have a gizzmo inc-r ebc and that shows boost also but its super accurate shows boost to The 10th of a psi so like 14.7psi. It's 300$ but is one of my favorite mods. And does way more than just show boost.
