Camber Adjustable Top Mounts

Recommended Posts

Does that mount to the strut? So that piece takes the place of the spring seat and strut mount using 2.5" springs?

The adjustable strut mount... mounts to the strut tower and the strut is mounted to the strut mount.

With that style, you throw away the stock strut mounts and spring seats and just 2.5" coilover springs with a standard 2.5" coilover upper spring seat.

Interesting. There's nothing I would love more than to throw away the factory strut mounts and spring seats. I blow those out on a monthly basis.<_< Need someone to test them out? Kidding.

I would be interested to see what those D2 camber plates run. I'm going to send that company an email to see what they cost.

How?

Maybe not now. But I was blowing them out pretty quickly with the Koni DIYs and Milwaukee streets. I was also using aftermarket ones, which would last about a month, then I switched to OEM, and they lasted quite a while, but I was still going through them pretty quickly on the DIYs.

Milwaukee? Your Volvo is not an off-road vehicle. Buy a truck. :P

You practically need a Jeep to maneuver some of the streets here, especially to climb over the mounds of black top that they dump into potholes to "repair" them.

Whoa update 3 gets more expensive. I got update 2 for 280 like 3 or 4 months ago-ish.

Yea, the chassis mounted plate is going to be 3d surfaced billet aluminum which contours to the shape of the strut tower. A bit more expensive to manufacture then a laser cut flat plate so the price has to go up a bit.

The swedes are preordering these things like crazy. ^_^

If I had an extra $400 to drop at the moment I would pre-order those too. But, Spring Break is coming up and I just wrapped up my wheels. I'm good for the time being.
