Budget $4000 Upgrade

i was refering to the point that the car is putting power to the front and rear when you need it (ie lack of traction)

I assumed when you made that post you were implying the fact that the car isnt a full time awd system like some cars, of course its not 4wd, how many 4wd cars do you see?(please dont list them, i know there are some lol)

Then WAR would be!!!!! Since we are talking about AWD is there any performance parts (beside buying new parts) for the AWD system to improve the weak points??? AWD guru please jump in!!!

For the AWD system itself? I've never heard of any. I'd try to replace the viscous coupling with the gripper center LSD from an old Audi Quattro, but aside from that, it's a good system.

Do you have idea if would fit? I have handy a SC90 Quattro and I can take any part from the awd.

I know for sure in Europe (Italy) the 2.5 lt Turbo Diesel V6 Audi 6 speed fwd/awd manual transmission fit perfect the 5 cyl volvo . But you need someone to send it here.

It would have to be custom fit into the driveshaft assembly, doubt there's any that would just drop in.

I'm talking about the viscous that sits in front of the rear diff, not in the transmission.
