Alboguy
I got a wired issue. Got done replacing the dasboard on my car since all the tabs were broken. 98 s70 t-5m. What i thought to be a real manual car from factory was in fact a swap. There is a red wire wich comes from abs control module (somebody put that there) and connects with a white wire in the instrument cluster, now if i remove this the speedometer doesent work. At the yellow plug under the dashboard there is red wire wich is cut. The lights in the cluster turn on exepct tracks. When i press tracks it shows tracks off but doesent stay on. Can anybody help me sort our this issue.

Jazzy_J
So are you asking why the speedo doesn't work? Because It is directly tied into the ABS system and if the module (red wire) is unplugged then the speed wont work. It sounds like however did the manual swap just rerun the ABS wire. http://www.___.com/volvo-wiring-diagrams This should help you find some answers as well. Put mathewsvolvosite in that URL.....Volvospeed won't post his site url for some reason.
