Mattphi
I've been wanting to do this on the wagon. Has anyone here done this on theirs? Was wondering if anyone has found a "proper fitting" plug, and where I can find one (before I go ripping things apart and hoping Home Depot has something I can use.
The Big Tuna
Hahah I was just about to give Kalvin a call about this, I'm sure he'll post up. He's pretty much the only guy I've seen that's done this
kalvin
I have been meaning to post up about this but I haven't because I assumed no one would be interested. But I have some good pictures at home of exactly what you need. I will post them when I get off work. I have been running no rear wiper for almost as lons I have had the wagon. Looks way better in my opinion.
Mattphi
Sounds good! Would love to get some pics of what you used. There are tons of threads online for VW's and Hondas...but until I rip everything out, I wouldn't be able to see what size plugs and all that I would need. Soany pics / info would be ggggrrrrrrrrrreat.

kalvin
There it is! It comes in grey but I grabbed a scrap of matte black vinyl and wrapped it around the end. I also removed the entire wiper motor and huge ass bracket.
Mattphi
And what department is that in / what is it normally used for?
kalvin
I THINK its electrical but not 100% sure.
matt b
Electrical or plumbing. I was running a black rubber plug for a few months on mine but I didn't like the look of a round, very black circle on a white car. If I ever respray the car, I'll probably weld that shut and paint it all white. Wish I'd known, I'd have thrown that plug in with the overhead panel for you Marr. Mattphi
According to Ace, it's in plumbing (different picture though) http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/ProductDetails.aspx?SKU=4026886
kalvin
I can't vouch for that one but the one I got from Home Depot sits very snug and is water tight.
matt b
Got confused with another car in the garage now that needs welding in that spot.
