TonyMastodon
What's going on with it - I might admit to knowing something about that system Oh really? The car will start and fire up just fine, but it doesn't want to idle. It wants to pop and die on me.but if I keep the rpms around 2000 or 3000, it sounds great. Could be simple timing? Bayv70
I efing love my k- jet, it's so bad ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD. It is not for the faint of heart and when you know what your doing 300hp is a pretty easy target. Goodluck with her, here is a great resource. http://www.k-jet.org/
Bayv70
Did you find the problem? K-jet hates cold so you have to rev up the motor for a few mins till the O2 sensor starts kicking in. Check and clean your IAC, make sure your intake heater hose is still connected, check for vacuum leaks, start there. Good luck
TonyMastodon
Yup! Simple thing.. wire going to the fuel pump relay backed itself out of the harness and wasnt making a good contact. everthing is tip top!! Now to fix the brake booster issue!! And lower it more! Fin-Solo
K-jet is AWESOME, Direct Injection FTW.... But I would probably be unable to keep it running, and my 240 was fuel injected anyways.
TonyMastodon
So far so good.. But a b230ft would be way more fun in my 122... If only we had a master fabricator on this forum to give advice... Anyone know someone who could help? :glare: :glare:
