I am in the midst of having the motor resealed (bad gasket on lower block) and money is an issue. Could I get equal performance if not a little improvement with the 16T w/out probs or an ECU upgrade? I will consider the chip in the near future, but with the engine coming out it would be the best time to swap T's. I definitely am aware that an ECU upgrade would bring out the best of the engine/turbo just thin in the wallet. Thanks again, TT

I have swapped the 15G and 16T a couple times, now back on the 15G since I sold the 16T I had; while still on the same boost levels, say stock at 10 PSI I felt a difference with the 16T... I attribute it more to the lower mileage on the 16T, also it has a stronger wastegate to hold a bit more boost at redline. :)

Stock programming is perfectly alright for a 16T
