atefitty
Finally finished my manual swap last night..Everything feels so new..Oh wait, it is all new! Third gear at about 4K RPM's, step on it and instant smile. It really comes alive. I can hear the tone of the exhaust better now too..I've owned this car for 12 years now and my only regret is not doing this sooner.
(n)A-GAME
Congrats! Enjoy the row-your-own goodness. So it's making well north of 400 horsepower, right? Maybe show us some 2010 dyno sheets? ;)

Recently, another member posted that he had completed a 5 speed swap in addition to some mods to his car. He claimed the dyno sheets over 400 hp. Another member discovered that the member had in fact taken the supposed dyno sheets from a GTO forum. You can read for yourself

atefitty
And the Lulz they have begun! How long did the swap take you? I need to get moving on sourcing one local... I began looking for a donor car 6 months ago...I must of spent at least 40 hours actually working on the car..I did do some additional things like heater core, cv boots and some engine pullys while I was doing the swap..This is not including the time I wasted trying to bleed the damn clutch.. atefitty
Good to hear you got it figured out. What was the issue, or was it just more time was needed? Gravity bleeding worked for me. Any other way I assume i was introducing more air than I was removing...
TheRangerDanger
What would be better? To pull an m56 out of a donor car or buy the complete swap kit?
