Yea-but...
What would be better? To pull an m56 out of a donor car or buy the complete swap kit? theres a swap kit? I thought you had to source everything yourself....
Jardim
Swap kits run more money to cover the PITA to get everything needed. And harder to find since not a lot of people just go around making these "kits"
TheRangerDanger
theres a swap kit? I thought you had to source everything yourself.... Check the for sale page. I found one for 750.00 plus tax. The reason I ask is because with a donor car you know your getting everything compared to a swap kit you could end up missing parts because of shipping, etc.

If you can get a swap kit, thats better because half the work is already done...All you got to do is remove your Look at me, I think I am witty and install the 5 speed goodness...The advantage i had though with the donor is I got to drive the car and I knew the tranny shifed fine..Plus if you've never done one before you get practice pulling the donor tranny and associated items..Then you figure out better and easier ways to do things that are posted on volvospeed.
