I replaced both hatch struts 2 days ago and now the "rear hatch open"light come on at random. When I hit bumps, accelerate, anytime really. but the hatch isn't unlatched, it even does it with the hatch is locked. So is there something I need to adjust on the hatch sensor? BEJinFBK Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 Since you were in that part of the car, you might take a look at the hatch wiring. It's been known to break.
